Unlimited Systems customers enjoy streamlined business office workflows, reduced claim denial rates, and accelerated and amplified revenue streams. Unlimited Systems is committed to ensuring that specialty healthcare providers thrive in a dynamic reimbursement environment.

Unlimited Systems is a portfolio company of Francisco Partners, a leading technology investment firm with deep sector focus and a track record of delivering outstanding returns. Through private equity and credit funds, they provide flexible capital and partnership to growth-aspiring technology companies.

The Challenge

2026 is a year of radical transformation for Unlimited Systems. Following private equity investment in 2025 and a focus on GTM sales, value creation through Human Capital, the adoption of AI across the organization – and an organizational redesign centered around operational excellence in Q1'26 – everything about our operation, culture, and strategic direction feels new. We are “emerging” as a reimagined organization while benefiting from the fortification of two successful decades in market as a leading player in the specialty healthcare RCM space.

With great transformation comes great opportunity. Human Capital, a new focus and investment within the organization, is steering, empowering, and equipping Unlimited’s talent strategy as we enter this new phase of organizational growth. The vision has been cast; priorities identified, mission communicated, roadmap set, and “start” flag waved. The event has begun, and it’s time for Human Capital to multiply its force and impact.

Currently a department of one, our VP of People & Culture is managing the whole of Unlimited’s Human Capital roadmap. At 30,000 feet: serving as a business partner to Unlimited’s C-suite and investment partner; at 10,000 feet: enabling leadership and helping to drive Unlimited’s value creation plan through long-anticipated talent projects, employee relations, and succession planning; and at the ground level: managing end-to-end administration and project delivery. Critical priorities live at each altitude, requiring concurrent and competing attention and care, and with only a single Human Capital representative there are efforts and audiences at risk of being underserved.

The Position

A full-time, hybrid role reporting to the VP of People & Culture, the HRBP will work frequently from our headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. Residency in the state of Ohio is preferred.

As HRBP, you will be the “people’s champion”. While the VP of P&C stays aligned to the Board, driving leadership accountability and acting as a bridge and driverof value creation for the business, you will be the business partner that engages and empowers our working managers and their teams, ensuring the pedal stays to the floor on the talent initiatives driving performance and talent development within the organization. You’ll collaborate on the strategy and direction drivingHuman Capital results for Unlimited and represent a presence of constancy, partnership, support, and HR accountability across the workforce.

This position will be accountable for:

Human Resources Excellence
  • Evaluating existing payroll and benefits vendors, tools, and monthly, quarterly, and annual processes and renewals; presenting a recommendation for the most cost-effective, compliant, and scalable HR solution for Unlimited Systems. As relevant: working with chosen vendor to prepare, and/or fully process and manage, Unlimited Systems’ payroll and benefits administration.
  • Evaluating existing policies, procedures, and employee handbook; identifying and addressing policy gaps and managing the distribution and global workforce acknowledgement of a refreshed handbook.
  • Partnering with the VP of People & Culture to develop job architecture across the organization; ensuring job descriptions are created and distributed across the organization with accompanying compensation bands.
  • Maintaining Unlimited’s HR housekeeping; converting personnel files to digital records, organizing up-to-date employee documentation including but not limited to employee offer letters, employee agreements, contractor agreements, equity grant distributions, etc.
  • Evaluating the business need, ROI, and programmatic requirements for introducing an Unlimited Systems internship program and making a strategic recommendation for how and when to bring it forward within the organization.
  • Partnering with working leaders across the organization to manage employee relations; offering resources and support on policy compliance, employee escalations, leave administration, offboarding, and more.
Talent Acquisition
  • Managing Unlimited System's hiring pipeline and full-cycle talent acquisition for the organization; apart from recruiter-managed searches or searches requiring Board involvement, you will manage the internal coordination and all strategic activities surrounding Unlimited’s talent acquisition.
  • Partnering with working leaders to source talent insights surrounding headcount contraction or growth and bringing those insights back to the People team to inform succession planning for the organization.
  • Scaling our talent acquisition processes for anticipated volume and growth and refining our talent strategy to model best-in-class hiring practices.
  • Leading our onboarding experience; implementing employee immersion programs and supporting the first 90-day IC experience at Unlimited Systems.
  • Informing our employer branding and advising how Unlimited Systems can better market itself to enrich its talent pipeline within and around Cincinnati and attract top talent as an employer of choice.
Culture Enablement
  • Driving employee listening within the organization; championing eNPS benchmarking and sentiment trending within the organization, engaging with internal communications via Lattice, Slack, Confluence, and other internal employee systems, and helping to facilitate Unlimited’s annual Top Workplaces survey. Listening, synthesizing, and bringing insights back to the People team for strategic review, prioritization, and actionable response.
  • Helping to drive strategic People & Culture programs through all ranks of the organization; ensuring initiatives for performance enablement and employee development are supported through every level and to every employee.
  • Participating in the facilitation of company events; including but not limited to, monthly All Hands meetings, quarterly leadership development events, and annual employee summits.

The Person

Being both ruthlessly tactical and endlessly empathetic is what allows Human Resources professionals to be successful in the dynamic world of Human Capital. The person who will be successful in this role should be no exception.

In this position you will be asked to:

  • Think proactively but build reactively. As we experience new growth in this exciting phase of Unlimited Systems’ story, our People team will plan strategically but adapt realistically to the critical needs of the business. Being a self-starter who is willing to move “up and to the right” with passion, while balancing expectations (and stamina) for pivots and sprints, will set you up for success as we establish the Human Capital function and set the stage for value creation over the coming years.

  • Bring your voice. This role is an opportunity for career growth. The more you bring your perspective and strategic intuition to the table, the more opportunities you’ll bring to yourself and to the organization. Open communication on the People team will be a price of admission. Our team will only succeed at scale when each member is willing to articulate observations, and make strategic recommendations, with transparency and respect. We’ll build internal trust so that we can go farther together. The boldness to speak for yourself and for what you know the organization may need to win will be critical.

  • Take extreme ownership. Even as a newly formed team, we’ll have limited resources to affect and sustain the change we’re aspiring toward. We will be closely in-sync to build, review, and manage the People roadmap and the division of ownership will be clear. Once the plan is set, you’ll be trusted to go, do, and deliver back on the outcomes agreed upon with trust and without micro-inspection. With ownership will come accountability, and embracing successes and failures in the role with willingness and integrity will fuel your success.

  • Roll up your sleeves and anticipate opportunities for growth and career advancement. All leaders within our business are accountable for delivery. We are a passionate team of player-coaches, who expect to get our hands dirty while we hone our craft and function, believing that the sweat equity we invest in the organization will return that investment in us as we prove our performance.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of progressive HR experience
  • Experience guiding leaders through company change, handling employee escalations, and planning for future hiring
  • Strong business acumen, and the ability to analyze and apply data insights
  • Strong communication, and the ability to adapt communication styles to various audiences in varying arenas

Preferred

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification

Our Process

If you’ve made it this far in the job description, we’d love to hear from you. We will try to ensure our selection process is efficient, transparent, and friendly. (If it’snot, please let us know.)

What you can expect from here:

  • From there, we’ll ask to view some of your previous work as well as request that you complete an assessment. This lets us know whether our expectations for the role actually align with your unique strengths.
  • If we’re still feeling good about each other, we’ll pass you on to our Hiring Manager and then to a panel interview so you can meet more of the faces of Unlimited Systems before we make an offer decision.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 05/31/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
